Get ready for the upcoming school year as a new ÌðÐÄÊÓƵ student with our virtual and in-person sessions. Check out the list of sessions available and attend as many as you'd like - we want  you to have the best year!
 

Fall 2024 Sessions

Campus Tours

Tour main campus with someone from our Success Team or Recruitment team so you will more easily  find your way around before  classes start.  Get your Campus One card, visit the bookstore and get parking and locker information while you tour - plus bring your time table, and we'll even show you where your classes will be.

August 8 and 14 Tours

To join a tour, meet us inside of the F-Wing entrance, right by our Health and Wellness Centre Gym, with tours beginning at 11 am and 2 pm each of the below dates.
 

August 19-30 Tours

For the last 2 weeks of August, drop into the "Get Ready With Us" booth in front of the Student Support Centre located in E1101 and  book your campus tour between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Get Ready With Us

All students are invited to drop by and see us in front of the Student Support Centre, so we can help you get organized and ready before Orientation events  and the start of the semester. Join our Peer Ambassador Leaders  who will help you get your student card, information on booking your locker (September 1)  and give you a  small campus tour. Visit us at one of the sessions listed below.
 

How to Be a Successful Student in College

Meet with our Success Team  to learn how our services, supports and staff are available to support you through your studies and find success on your postsecondary journey.

IT - Computer Help Readiness

Receive support to learn how to access your student Portal, LMS, Outlook college email, MS teams, important Sharepoint sites and register your 2-step authentication process required to access your student account.  Come to campus for a session in our Student Support Centre.
 

Microsoft 365

Join   one of  our virtual sessions to learn about Outlook and Office 365 and how you will use them for your classes.
 

Prep for Success

Our Success Team is here to help you be successful  as a ÌðÐÄÊÓƵ student. We'll come up with a plan together to stay on top of your studies, refer you to services and supports, and help you reach your goals.  We'll go over a checklist with you and the available supports to help you get off to a good start.

Student Portal and Team Dynamix

You'll visit your Student Portal online often to find out information about your account, schedules, tuition, special dates and more, so we want to help you be prepared to navigate it  whenever you need it. You'll also learn about Team Dynamix  from IT Services, which you'll use if you need help or need to request services from our IT team. All new students from main campus   can join us for one of the virtual sessions below.
 

Transition to College Program

This free program is open to students with  Identified Learning Disabilities. You'll  get a chance to  “settle in" before starting classes, so you can  feel more prepared for your College year ahead.

Registration for this program is required. Spots are limited.
